Shirley Owens Gardner, 73, Anderson, passed away June 29, 2009 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born May 14, 1936 in Sikeston, Missouri, and resided in Anderson most of her life. Shirley was a homemaker and a seamstress at The House of Reagin. She was a member of New Covenant Ministry Center Church of God.
She is survived by her husband whom she married January 23, 1954, Charlie Glenn Gardner; children, Pam Charlie Shelton of Anderson, Rick Connie Gardner of Anderson and David Dawn Gardner of Anderson; sister, Barbara Harper of Missouri; aunt, Sue Wise of Missouri; nine grandchildren, Andy JB Shelton, Bubba Angel Shelton, Sis Michael Goodman, Jonathan Jamie Gardner, Josh Gardner, Justin Jacque Gardner, Amanda Teddy Conn, Lindsey Ray Beeman and Michael Gardner; great grandchildren, Bailey, Berkley and Bo Marie Shelton, Kiley and Katelynn Shelton, Jacob, Joshua and Judah Goodman, Caleb, Joel and Colin “Boo” Gardner, Makynlee Conn, Kaynynn Gardner, Promise and Raiden Beeman; brothers-in-law, Robert Edith and James Sandra, Doug Judy John Lequeita Dale Fran Gardner and Dub Deason; sister-in-law, Martha Clements; several nieces & nephews; and extended family, Penny Larry Willhoite, Jason Monica Willhoite, Elijah and Sadie Willhoite and Ashley Jason Cooper.
