Shirley G. Flexer, 83, of 3207 Bottle Run Road, died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the Williamsport Hospital Regional Medical Center with her family at her bed side.
Shirley’s husband, Daniel E. Flexer, Sr. died July 17, 1992.
Shirley was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching sports of the television and was a member of VFW Post 844 Ladies Auxiliary.
Born June 15, 1928 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Harold and Marie Howard Lusk.
Surviving are sons, Daniel E. (Diane), Jr. and Charles F. (Fran) both of Williamsport; daughter, Shirley K. (Robert) Griffin of Williamsport; brothers, Louis Lusk of Williamsport and Ronald Lusk of Cogan Station; sisters, Diana Casale and Joyce Crossley both of Williamsport; eleven grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
Shirley was predeceased by a daughter, Judy Wagner.
