Shirley Faye Robinson Adams, 74, Knoxville, died March 8, 2012 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born October 12, 1937 in Hazard, KY, and lived most of her life in this area. Shirley retired from Service & Materials in Elwood.
Survivors include her sons, Gary J. Adams of Knoxville, TN & Tim Adams Rebecca of Strawberry Plains, TN; brother & sisters, Herman Robinson Bonnie, Virgie Poore Ridley, Sharon Green Rex & Bobbie Spaulding Rick; three grandchildren, Ashley Brooke Adams, Missy Hillbourne & Matthew Burnam Adams; three great grandchildren, Cassie, Jordan & Zoey, several great nieces & nephews; and special friend, Janet Wyrick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Burnam & Rosie Potter Robinson and siblings, Wanda Lee Robinson, Wilma Dean Hooten, Arminta Robinson, Rosanna Whiteman, Harold Robinson and Cecil Robinson.
