Shirley F. Armour, 75, of Jacksonville, IL died Saturday, December 25, 2010, at Barton W. Stone Home in Jacksonville.
She was born October 24, 1935, in Kentucky; the daughter of Comer and Lillian White Armour. She is survived by six grandchildren, Angela Kingstad, Sariah Plunkett, Jill Slater, Aaron Slater, Summer Slater, and Ashley Belcher; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Ethel Moad of Barlow, KY; three brothers, David Armour of Jacksonville, James Armour of Edwardsville, and Bert Armour of Barlow, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Sherry Howland Armold and Kerry Paul Howland; and four sisters, Jane Myatt, Betty Hollis, Patricia Hartman, and Mable Cochran.
Ms. Armour retired from Mobil Chemical where she worked for over 20 years.
