Shirley Earldine Ash, 74 of Wallace passed away Sunday March 11, 2012 at Meadowview Manor, following an extended illness. She was born June 27, 1937 in Sardis, WV the daughter of the late Waymond Earl and H. Blanche Shaver Bramer. She is survived by two daughters Jeanie Godfrey Palmer and husband Mark of Shinnston, Evelyn Ash Cutright and husband Bob of Bridgeport; one son Tommy Earl Ash and companion Becky Gordon of Wallace; one grandson, Christopher L. Godfrey companion Hope Marks of Wallace; one sister, Geraldine R. Edgell and husband Clifford of Smithfield; step grandchildren, Stacy Lantz and husband Erik of Fairmont, Jason Cutright and wife Bethany of Anmoore. Robin Myers and husband Jim of Wallace, Stephanie Godfrey of San Jose California, Marlena Palmer, Clarksburg, Ben Fairley of Ohio, Savannah Fairley of Clarksburg; step great grandchildren, Noah, Abby and Ian Lantz, Maxwell Myers, Breanna and Wesley Cutright, and Athena Palmer; nieces, Debra Edgell, Brenda Kesling, Donna Walls; nephews Stephan and Kevin Bramer, Lee Kesling, Howard Walls and several other nieces and nephews; other special care givers: Leon Hasting, Bill Thompson, Jennifer Higgins, Ashley Learly, Dawn Taxton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald E Ash in Sept 1987; five sisters, Lorainne, Vivian Winona, Velma, Norma June Bramer and Juanita Walls; four brothers, Robert Warren, Buddie Norman, Earl Jr., George W. Bramer; three nephews, Gary, Waymond, Buddie Bramer II . She graduated in 1955 from Wallace High School, attended St Mary’s school of nursing where she graduated as a nursing assistant in 1978. She went on to graduate from Wetzel Co. Career Center in 1981 as a licensed practical nurse. She was also a member of the senior Citizen’s of Wallace and was a homemaker.
