Shirley E. Gaylor Fleischhauer, 76, Anderson, died June 3, 2005 at Select Specialty Hospital-Indianapolis after an extended stay following surgery in February.
She was born December 29, 1928 in Bellevue, Iowa, and had been an Anderson area resident since moving here in 1967.
She and Don were the owners and operators Champion Sales Tupperware Distributors from 1967 to 1994. She was a member of Unity Church in Anderson. She was a pianist, liked to crochet and had been an avid bicyclist.
She was very active in various church groups including, Sewing Group at North Anderson Church of God and Silver Foxes at First Presbyterian Church. She most recently directed the church choir at Christmas.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald Fleischhauer; six children, Keith & wife Tammy Fleischhauer, Mark & wife Karen Fleischhauer, Karyn Shipley, Dean & wife Lois Fleischhauer, Doris Hudgens and Kevin & wife Lori Fleischhauer; seven siblings, Bob & wife Selma Gaylor, Beverly & husband Gene Gangwer, John & wife Nancy Gaylor, Neil & wife Sandy Gaylor, Marge Benge, Lynn & wife Pam Gaylor and Bill & wife Nancy Gaylor; a sister-in-law, Norma Justice; twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley touched many lives over the years, and had many special friends. She was preceded by her parents, Lester & Alberta Paup Gaylor.
