Born May 12, 1955, in New Jersey. She entered the workforce as an entry level X-Ray Technician and rose to the position of Vice President, Corporate Headquarters with Insight Imaging here in the Valley.
Pursuing a lifelong interest in the Arts, she left the corporate world to start an art gallery with her two partners. Textures Gallery in Artspace in the Scottsdale Arts District had a diverse collection of art work, and with her leadership gained a reputation as being one of the finest galleries during 2003 through 2009.
Following the recession and subsequent closure of the Gallery, Shirley and her partner formed a successful online retail sales business of collectibles and paintings. She was active in the business up until the last month.
She will be especially remembered for her quick wit, ability to fix the impossible, and tenaciousness that allowed her to achieve top rankings in many diverse endeavors. Shirley was strong, smart, and loving, with an endless capacity for giving.
