Shirley Cattich, 69, passed away on April 8, 2012. She was born August 20, 1942 and raised in Northern California. Shirley met Bob, her husband of 49 years, in 1960 and they moved to Anaheim Hills in 1978, where they made it their home.

Shirley was a loving mother to five children, Kim, Carol, Karen, John, and Michelle and adoring grandmother to nine grandchildren, Nolan, Desiree, Candace, Madison, Dylan, Taylor, Shea, Peyton and Logan. Tradition was an important element to Shirley’s relationship with her children and their families and included Sunday dinners and formal holiday celebrations. She made special time for each grandchild by treating them to theater productions, apple picking, air shows, mani’s & pedi’s, cookie baking and school supply shopping. Shirley also attended thousands of games, meets, plays, concerts and holiday programs for her kids and grandkids.

Over her 25 year career with Tarbell Realtors, Shirley successfully grew from a realtor to manager and vice president. She was an inspiration and mentor to many agents and spent many weekends hosting and coordinating community events including food drives for Second Harvest Food Bank, care packages for military serving overseas, pumpkin patches and photos with Santa, to name a few.

Shirley enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Europe, and Mexico with Bob and her family. She will be remembered for her devotion to family and strength to overcome any personal or professional hurdle put in front of her. Shirley courageously fought breast cancer and was given a clean bill of health one year ago this month.

Shirley is survived by her husband, children and their spouses, grandchildren, and brother, Karl. Her family, friends and colleagues treasure the time they had with her and will miss her dearly.
