Shirley “Beth” Holovach, aged 71, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Homeview Health, Memory Care Unit, Franklin, Indiana.
Beth was born in 1949, in Belleville, Kansas. Her first passion was flying, and she had her pilot’s license before she had a driver’s license. She was the youngest girl licensed to fly in the state at the time. Beth was incredibly intelligent and faced few problems in life that she couldn’t outwit. She loved to DO stuff, and over her life, she built several back-yard oasis’, sewed, knitted, invented, gardened, canned, and flew, and anything else she dang well pleased. Most importantly, she loved her family.
At the time of her death, she was the beloved wife of Jay Holovach, formerly of Scott City, KS. She had three sons, Josh and Justin (Jenn) Crane of Hutchinson, KS, and Tyler (Amy) Holovach of Bonney Lake, WA, as well as two daughters, Tammi (Don) Duis of Franklin, IN, and Julie Dunn of Kansas City, MO. Beth had 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, of Belleville, KS, and has surviving siblings in Kansas.
