She was born February 3, 1937 in Braxton County; daughter of the late Scott and Mamie Long Burrough.
Shirley is survived by five children, Larry and Mary Beth Kyle of Clarksburg, Linda and Mike Hardman of Bridgeport, Connie and Jeff Hamilton of Clarksburg, Deborah and Rick Lilly of Clarksburg, Terry and Minta Kyle of Clarksburg; seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Larry Kyle, Joshua Hamilton, John Lilly, Emily Kyle; seven great grandchildren, Cassidy, Jordan, Josiah, Jack, Jace, Israella Kyle, Lucius Hamilton; one brother, Kenneth and Lydia Burrough of Weston; three sisters, Jane and Bill Norman of Clarksburg, Freda Franks, Iona Pearson. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kyle, Jr.; who she married October 6, 1954 and preceded her in death on March 4, 2003; three brothers, Austin, Eugene, Arthur Burrough; two sisters, Genevieve Murphy, Dicie Reeder.
Shirley loved spending time with her family, reading and attending church at Freedom in Christ Ministry of West Virginia.
