Shirley Zimmerman, 85, of Anderson, left her earthly home for her heavenly home from natural causes on June 29, 2020.
She was born on October 5, 1934 in Spokane, Washington, and moved to Anderson in 1996. She was a secretary for Rivera Christian Church in California, and was a homemaker.
Shirley is survived by her loving daughters, Shireen (Stacy, Sr.) Scott of Anderson, and Holly Gaudioso of California; sister, Donna McKale of Washington; seven grandchildren, Shalimar (Shawn) Franklin, Monica Scott, Guy Scott, Stacy (Brianne) Scott, Jr., Nathan (Nicole) Guadioso, Georgia (Steve Dalforno) Guadiso, and Morgan (Jesse) Torell. Also surviving are several great-grandchildren, one great great-granddaughter, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Vern Zimmerman; parents, Justin and Jean Turner; and siblings, Mariann Seeber, Ted Turner, and Bud Turner.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at Miller’s in Middletown for taking such great care of her, and also the South Meridian Church of God Care Team, Patti Baker and Suzanne Massy, for faithfully visiting with her.
