Shirley Ann Roth, 73, of Ottawa, died Sunday night, January 22, 2012 at her home. Shirley was born on February 25, 1938 in Ottawa, to Jules and Josephine (Herzog) LeBeau. She was a graduate of Marquette High School.
She attended St. Joseph School of Nursing in Joliet and St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Streator. She retired from nursing at Ottawa Regional Hospital after 29 years of service. She married Robert Roth on August 3, 1957 at St. Mary’s Church in Ottawa. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Naplate.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, 3 children, Pam (Chuy) Velazquez, of San Diego, CA, Bob Roth, of Dallas, TX and Peggy (Keith) Chock, of Honolulu, HI, 5 grandchildren and 2 sisters Martha Bowers and Emma (Tom) Donahue, both of Ottawa. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and a sister. Pallbearers will be Tom Roth, Arty LeBeau, Ernie Mitchell, Eddie Weber, Johnny and Antone Roth.
