Shirley Ann Rose, 91, died Monday Oct. 24, 2022 at her Phoenix home with her family by her side.
Shirley was born on July 8, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas and Johanna Creighton. Shirley loved God, her church, her family and her friends.
Shirley was married the love of her life and best friend, Jack Rose on Feb.14, 1953. They were blessed with four children; Daniel, Christine, Connie and Doug.
Shirley was a devoted teacher, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Deep into her career she went back to school and in 1988 she received her Associates Degree Early Childhood education.
Shirley was a director and owner of Tots and Tunes preschool. Soon after she was the co-founder of the co-op preschool at Apollo high school.
Shirley was a dedicated and active member at Gloria Dei Lutheran church and Gloria Christi Federated Church.
Shirley is survived by her children Daniel Rose (Sandy), Christine Fussell, Connie Rose-Kamprath (Peter) and Doug Rose (Stef); ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many friends.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Jack Rose.
Shirley especially will be remembered for her love and compassion for others.
