Shirley Ann Mitchell was born in Prairie, Mississippi on May 18th, 1955 to the union of the late Ulysses and Bertha McNairy. She accepted Christ at an early age. One thing she would always say was, “I know the good Lord is with me.”
She worked for Index Manufacturing and
Tootsie Roll for a few years, then for Help at Home in 2000 until her health failed.
Ann loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was the life of the party. Everyone who knew her, loved her. She always kept it real and told it like it was, never sugar coating ANYTHING!!
She married her longtime companion of over 30 years, Eddie Williams, on May 18th, 2005.
Ann was Auntie to everybody in the neighborhood. You could always count on her, and her door was always open.
Shirley Ann Mitchell departed this life at Holy Cross Hospital on Tuesday, June 16th, 2020 at 6:13 AM.
