Shirley Ann Lykins, 70 of Eureka, IL passed away at 4:46 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Proctor Hospital. She was born April 19, 1949 in East Peoria, IL to Roy and Alvena (Fandel) Force. She married Daniel R. Lykins on November 17, 1973.
Surviving is her daughter, Heather (Matthew) Stewart of Washington, IL; two grandchildren Ryley Stewart and Ella Stewart and five brothers Ron (Denise)Force of Metamora, IL, Dave (Jan) Force of Lowpoint, IL, Daniel (Natalie) Force of Metamora, IL, Phillip (Denise) Force of Bettendorf, IA, and Frank Force of Metamora, IL and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Shirley worked at CVS in Washington for over 20 years before moving on to Walgreens, where she retired. She loved working in Cosmetics. She especially loved sharing that passion with her granddaughters by swapping makeup and hair tips and doing mini makeovers. She had a love for animals and showered her rescue cat Dory with love and affection.
