Shirley A. (McHenry) Luke, 61, of Shinnston, WV passed away November 18, 2011 at Heartland Nursing Home of Clarksburg after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 31, 1949 in Harrison County, WV the daughter of the late Kenneth E. Luke and Julia D. (Tucker) Luke. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers; Donnie and Kenny Luke, Jr. She is survived by her husband; Allen McHenry, three sons; Ronnie E. Merritt, Jr. and his wife Tina of Shinnston, Howard N. Merritt of Peoria, WV and Jackie E. Merritt, Peoria, WV, three sisters; Martha A. Martin and her husband Postal of Pine Bluff, Judy D. Martin of Balasco’s Mobile Home Park in Bridgeport, Shalimar Amtower of Bridgeport, two aunts; Trecia Tucker of Pine Bluff and Francis Robinson of Little Bingamon, two grandchildren; Kayla Marie and Dustin Eugene Merritt of Shinnston, several nieces and nephews. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo, fishing and camping. She was a member of the Pine Bluff Homemakers, American Legion Auxiliary, Moose Lodge of Fairmont, WV and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Clarksburg, WV.
