Shirley Ann Johnson passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 with her family by her side. Shirley was born October 10, 1942, in Santa Paula, California to Johnny B and Emma Lightfoot. Shirley attended Lakewood High School in Lakewood, California.
Through the years Shirley worked as a grocery clerk, Ford Motor Company and finally ending a long career as a social worker for Los Angeles and Riverside county.
After retirement Shirley and her husband Kent decided it was time to leave California and began searching for their dream home in the woods where they would enjoy retirement and spend the reminder of their lives. In 2002, Shirley and her husband found that special place in Eureka, Montana.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Johnny B & Emma; and her husband Kent. Survivors include four children: Robert, David, Jim and Mike; 13 grandchildren: Dustin, Jeremy, Amanda N, Jennifer, Shannon, Travis, Bryanna, Gage, Jessica, Troy, Vince, Reese and Amanda J; 16 great-grandchildren: Dillon, Isaiah, Max, Sage, Ciana, Darren, Christian, Cambree, Matthew, McKenzie, Deegan, Kyle, Hudson, Addy, Jameson and Danitza.
She loved and enjoyed her family so much and she will definitely be missed.
