Shirley Ann Persun, 73, of Williamsport died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Williamsport Hospital.
Born December 18, 1937 in DuBoistown, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Elizabeth (Mitchell) Counsil, Sr.
Shirley enjoyed playing cards, bingo, shopping, watching soap operas, collecting angels, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her children; Donna Lee (Samuel) Childress Baker of Williamsport, Donald L. Baker, Jr. of So. Williamsport, Bella M. Leonard Baker of Williamsport, and Anthony W. (Tina) Baker of So. Williamsport, sister, Jackie Keener of MD; brothers, Robert Counsil of OR, Richard Counsil of TN, and Gerald Counsil, Jr. of Williamsport; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, two half sisters; Heidi and Rose, and two half brothers; Gene and Joseph.
Shirley was preceded in death her son Timothy S. Baker.
