Shirley Ann Watson, 92, of Ottawa, passed away January 1, 2019 at Heritage Manor, Peru.
Mrs. Watson was born September 20, 1926 in Milwaukee, WI to Donald and Ruth (Bigelow) Hagan.
She married Kennedy Watson on March 16, 1946 in Milwaukee, Wisc.
Shirley was a former member of St. Columba Church where she and her husband,Ken, were Eucharistic Ministers; she volunteer with the women’s prison ministry and detention centers; volunteered with Meals on Wheels and volunteered working to raise money for children’s wheelchairs.
She is survived by four children: Sharon Fitzpatrick, Bradenton, FL; Kathy Cordonier, Kansas City, KS; Timothy Watson, Ottawa, IL and Theodore Watson, Seattle, WA.
Shirley is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and well as many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Ken, on June 19, 1987, her beloved sister, Dorothy, her brother, George as well as both parents.
