Shirley A. Terril, age 90, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Our House Senior Living in Wisconsin Rapids.
Shirley was born on February 24, 1932 in Minong, Wisconsin to August and Charlotte (Richard) Strenke. She married Donald Terril on January 13, 1951 in Solon Springs, WI; Donald passed away on August 2, 2020. Shirley was a wonderful homemaker and mother. She enjoyed watching the Brewers, embroidery, bird watching, and playing cards.
Shirley is survived by sons: Tom Terril, Russ (Kerri) Terril; daughters: Nancy Peterson (Jeff Marutz), Donna (Jay) Jicinsky; sister: Rose Thorsen, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, daughter; Phyllis; granddaughter: Ashley; brothers: George, Dick, Joe; and sisters: Bernice and Marie.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Our House Assisted Living and St. Croix Hospice for the compassionate care given to their mother.
