Shirley A. (Patton) Lawless, 82, of rural Streator, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.
Mrs. Lawless was born December 2, 1939 in Streator to Clarence and Alice (Mull) Patton.
She married Richard W. Lawless on October 15, 1960 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lostant. She worked at Owens Illinois Glass in Streator for 40 years and was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Lostant.
Survivors include two sons, William Lawless of Streator and Robert (Bonnie) Lawless of Lostant; five grandchildren, Erica, Kyle, Lindsay, Ayden and Payton; a brother, Eugene Patton; three sisters, Betty (Bob) Meredith, Alice (Glen) Pollett and Linda (Dick) Christoff; a sister-in-law, Marianne Patton and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; three brothers, Dick, Frank and Robert Patton and a sister, Juanita Henderson.
