Mrs. Shirley A. (Massieon) Bleck, 84, of Peru, passed away at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, August 23, 2009, at Heritage Manor in Peru. Mrs. Bleck was born February 9, 1925, in Peru to Charles and Janet (Billard) Massieon.
She married Kenneth R. Bleck on March 2, 1946, in Peru. He passed away on April 23, 1990. Shirley worked at JC Pennys Department Store in the office and at Bergners Department Store. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Peru.
She is survived by her children; Debbie (Gary) Ledet of Kaplan, LA, Gary (Audrey) Bleck of Peru, Jeffrey (Rebecca) Bleck of LaSalle, Julie (Joseph) Jurkas of LaSalle, and Paul (Julie) Bleck of LaSalle; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Barbara Stachowiak, one sister, and one brother.
