She was born May 9, 1937 in Greensburg, daughter of the late John and Ann (Redish) Utzman.
Shirley was a retired second grade teacher for Penn Trafford School District.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg.
Besides her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Armbrust and a brother John Utzman.
Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn Henton and husband William of New Milford, Conn , two grandchildren, Karlie and Joshua and a sister, Dorothy Hrishenko and husband, Andy of Sewickley.
