Shirlene Lucious was born July 23, 1967 in Chicago, IL to Annie Lucious and Carl Harris. She was the youngest of 7 children. From a young age, Shirlene was very intelligent and outgoing. Whatever she set her mind to she was going to achieve it.
Shirlene attended Thornton Township High School where she graduated. She later went on to marry Antoine G. Reed. Together they raised 3 beautiful children: Carlos Reed, Chante Reed, and Antoine A. Reed. To Shirlene her kids were her world and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them. Shirlene and her family began attending the Kingdom Hall where she later was baptized and served Jehovah for many years.
Shirlene attended Chicago State University and graduated at the top of her class with a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. She loved her career and flourished as a Certified Occupational Therapist regional manager and home health therapist.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie White; her brothers: Henry, Ronald, and Yancy White; one sister: Laverne Johnson and a special nephew dear to her heart, Raymondo Jones.
She leaves her memories to be cherished by her 3 children: Carlos, Chante, and Antoine A. Reed; her 3 grandchildren: London Denton, Jordyn Denton, and Kayden Willis; her sisters: Loretta Fisher (Rufus) of Harvey, IL and Ramona Jones of Gary, IN; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved dearly.
