Sheryle Anne (McAuliffe) Kozlowski of Plymouth, left us on June 4, 2022 at 8:24am. She was born in Plymouth on May 4, 1950. She was the daughter of Bernice Diaz, Lawrence McAuliffe & John Diaz. Sheryle was a superstar, a force of nature, the “Queen Bee”. There was no one that worked or loved as hard as she did. She dedicated all of her life to her family. Her rule was “Family First” no matter what and for them she hustled like there was no tomorrow, even if it meant that she was in pain. That was the type of woman she was. Sheryle was the glue that held our family together, her work created and raised fifteen additional pieces of her to the world and there will be more added in years to come. Sheryle was the devoted wife of fifty-one years to Nicholas Kozlowski; loving mother to Sherry Frank of Florida, Tina Marcano of Plymouth, Nicholas Kozlowski, Jr. of Plymouth, and Jennifer Kozlowski of Plymouth; cherished “Gamma” to Keisha Kozlowski, Paige Figueroa, Konner Kozlowski, Jacob Kozlowski, Angela Downey, Catolina Marcano and Luis Marcano; great “Gamma” to Kaiden Tuell, Prince Robinson, Davina Haynes and Winter Rose Lessa; beloved sister to Mark McAuliffe, Bart McAuliffe, Lisa Demsey and the late Shawn DiazSheryle fought hard through her illnesses. The last five years we believe she fought for us; she wouldn’t let go until she knew we would be ok. She was a very blunt, strong, stubborn woman but carried a giant heart for those who deserved it. She was bold and stood out from a crowd, a soul you could never forget once you met, a little bit of sunshine mixed with thunder. Sheryle had soft spot for animals and wildlife, a love for tigers and big cats. Her eyes sparkled a piercing bright blue, one of her nicknames became “blue eyes” and her other nickname was the one she created by changing the spelling of her name from Cheryle to Sheryle and her initials became “SAM”. She was very creative and talented. She enjoyed crocheting, acrylic painting, poetry and Bible scriptures. She had a love of music and dancing, there were a variety of artists that spoke to her including, Reba McEntire, Eurythmics, Elton John, Phil Collins, and many Disney movie songs. Her favorite jam out was to “I’ve got the power” by Snap. She loved the holidays as these were the times that brought everyone she loved together. Her home always welcomed all. She would tell you many stories and show pictures of ancestors and old days. She believed in many superstitions and was very spiritual, all of which have become family traditions. She strongly believed in the Lord and one of her powerful messengers was the red cardinal. She created strong memories that will live long in many hearts, she will be greatly missed by all those who have been blessed to know her and who have carried much of her love in their hearts. Every time you see a red cardinal, think of Sheryle and know she is sending her love and messages from above. Matthew 6:34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
