Sheryl Ann Fagan Johanek passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 after a stroke. She died peacefully with her family at her side. Sheryl was born in Spanish Fork, Utah to Merlin and Fern Fagan. When she was three years old when her family moved to Nyssa, Oregon, then to Apple Valley when she was five. At 13 years old they moved to Payette where she attended middle school and high school. She had always loved working for the newspapers. She worked at Iklers in Boise and in Clarkston, Washington. Sheryl then worked for the Seattle P.I. for 13 years.
