Sherwin Progress Anderson (Andy), age 84, passed away on November 2, 2020.  He was born on May 4, 1936 in Florala, AL to the late Rural and Allie Anderson of Chipley, FL.

Andy is survived by his two children, William Rose, Odessa, FL and Jessica Brack, Chapel Hill, NC; five grandchildren, Tyler Rose, Emily Rose Almeida, Abigail Rose, Kathryn Brack, and Samantha Brack; three nephews, Kenneth Stanton, Morey Stanton, and Glenn Stanton.

Andy served his country in numerous ways, starting out by enlisting in the Army in 1956 and becoming a helicopter mechanic stationed in Germany and then by joining The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF).  After the ATF, he transitioned into the Department of Transportation, which he retired from.  In his personal time, Andy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and he also operated a successful gunsmithing business where he developed a reputation for being able to fix and restore just about anything from broken to fire damaged firearms.
