Sherry Rhea (Coleman) Hill, 67, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2018 at her home in LaSalle. She was born to Otis and Mary (Kelchner) Coleman in Peru, Illinois on April 4, 1951. She is a direct descendant of Peregrine White, the first baby born on the Mayflower after arriving in the new world. She married Harold A. Hill on July 12, 1969 and together had three sons.
She worked at the Mendota Hospital and for 15 years assembled computer chips for Honeywell in Freeport. She will be remembered for her passion of singing, laughing and engaging in good debate. She is survived by her sons, Ted of Riverside, California, Aaron of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Shane of LaSalle; three grandchildren, Paige of LaSalle, Spencer of Glendale, Arizona and Lauren of Surprise, Arizona and siblings, Kelly Coleman, Holly (Coleman) McLaughlin, Shawn Coleman, Tina (Coleman) Claahsen and Alan Coleman and many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband and brothers, Terry Coleman and Richard Coleman.
