Sherry Hankins, 67, Of Beech Grove, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Richmond, IN to Edward and Ileana Morris on December 22, 1947. She was a Certified Medical Assistant, was owner and operator of the Medical Transciption Service for numerous doctors in the Greenwood area, taught at the Professional Careers Institute, worked at the Harcourt Clinic in Indianpolis and the Community Pulminary Association. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She married Michael L. Hankins, December 8, 1993 in Indianpolis. Sherry and Mike were sealed in marriage for and all eternity January 8, 2000, in the St Louis Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Sherry is survived by her husband; Michael Lee Hankins, daughters; Cassaundra Emberton of Greenwood and Jennifer Droghei (Jack) of Greenwood, step-daughter; Lora Jackson (David) of Queen Creek, AZ, step-sons; Michael Hankins (Peggy Sue) of Perry, Utah and Steven E. Hankins of Vancouver, British Columbia, sister; Beverley Stinson of Seattle, Washington, brother; Barry Morris (Linda) of Richmond, Indiana, grandchildren; Zacharey Johnson, Tevis Byrne, Emmah Byrne step-grandchildren; Courtney Jackson, Riss Jackson, Olivia Jackson, Michaela Hankins, Erica Hankins, Megan Hankins and Amber Hankins.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Ileana (McFarland) Morris.
