Sherry Lynn Riddle Gribble,44, of Maryville, Tennessee died on Monday, July 12, 2010 in Maryville. Sherry grew up in Ringgold achieved her LPN degree and went to work for Dr. Ralph Green in Ringgold. She embodied th spirit of nursing with compassion and care for her patients, family and friends. She was very creative, particularly for the needle arts, often creating keepsakes for her loved ones. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was especially looking forward to being a wonderful “Mamaw” to her new grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Riddle; father-in-law, Tommy Friel and grandparents, Jesse and Lois McKay. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, John Gribble; daughter, Cassidy Gribble, both of Maryville; son, Drew (Kym) Gribble, Rossville; grandchildren, Xavier, Laelynn and Farra Kaye Gribble; mother, Sylvia McKay Riddle, Ringgold; mother-in-law, Helen Friel; father-in-law,m Harold Gribble and numerous aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
