Sherry L. Massey, 67, of Anderson, passed away on June 27, 2020 at the St. Vincent’s Anderson Regional Hospital Anderson, IN.
She was born on July 12, 1952 in New Castle, Indiana. She was a proofreader and indexer for several companies until she retired. She was a delegate for the American Kennel Club, publisher for the American Chesapeake Club, and a lifetime board member of both the Anderson Obedience Training Club and Anderson Kennel Club. She also owned Shilo Kennels and bred Chesapeake Bay Retrievers.
Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Johnny Massey; mother, Martha Louise Jones; daughter, Laura (Geoff) Brumback; grandchildren, Elora “Ellie” and Martin Brumback; siblings, Ted (Ruth) Jones, Debra (Marc) Cruea; aunts, Rosie Clark and Nancy Hicks, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Verley Raymond Jones. Per her wishes, cremation will take place.
