Sherry Sue (Ericksen) Koppen the daughter of Mike and Betty (Schweitzer) Ericksen was born April 5, 1944, in Morganfield, Kentucky.She grew up in the Storm Lake, Alta area and graduated from Alta, Iowa High School. She was united in marriage to Denny Koppen on January 8, 1963. They lived in Spirit Lake from then on. Sherry managed the Antlers Hotel Antique Mall for 19 years. She also enjoyed playing Bridge, their antiques, little league baseball and softball, crafts, painting, and sewing.Sherry was a woman of great faith and was active in church, serving on several committees and taught Sunday School for many years.She is survived by her husband, Denny of Spirit Lake, IA.
