Sherrill Bramel, 74, of rural Marseilles, died at her home.
Mrs. Bramel was born on Dec. 10, 1933 in Ottawa to Rolland Thomas and Gladys Viola (Knutson) Lock. She married Joseph H. Bramel on November 22, 1953 in the First Baptist Church in Ottawa. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Oledine Wood Guild, and the Dayton Homemakers.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter Julie A. (Steven) Pointer, of Marseilles, a son Kevin (Karen) of Marseilles, five grandchildren, and one sister, Donna (Gerald) Trahan, of Beaumont, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Joseph W. Bramel, one sister Fern Ingram, and one brother Lloyd Lock.
