Shelley was a strong and independent woman whose kind, friendly nature knew no bounds. She was the kind of person who “never knew a stranger” and could make a friend anywhere. Shelley was an avid Blackhawks maniac and enjoyed fishing, her favorite spot being the Brickyard in Munster.

She was blessed with a green thumb and put it to use planting flowers in her garden and landscaping. Shelley spent countless hours watching the Yellow Finches, her favorite, that would come to use her birdfeeders.

She was a big fan of James Patterson, looking forward to every new book in the ‘Alex Cross’ series and loved to play table games with the kids. Her favorite games were “Chickenfoot”, “Acquire” and “Authors”. Most of all Shelley cherished the time spent with her loving family.

She was a devoted wife, a caring and nurturing mother and a doting grandmother. Shelley loved to spoil her grandbabies, they completed her and were the light of her life. All who knew and loved Shelley will miss her dearly and carry her in their hearts forever.
