Shelby Lynn (Nose) Moore, age 36, of Wilkinson Street Grafton, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012, in Orlando, Florida, while vacationing with her family. She was born September 25, 1975, in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of Glenda (Withers) Sigley and husband Ralph Sigley, who survive, of Barbour County. Her husband, Donald “Brian” Moore survives. They were united in marriage October 21, 1995. Shelby was a 1994 graduate of Preston County High School, and a 2008 graduate of Fairmont State University. She was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a legal instruments examiner, and served on the board of directors of the Lasting Impressions Child Development Center. She was previously employed at Grafton City Hospital where she was an activities director. She was a devoted wife and mother and was a Baptist by faith.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter, Amy Lynnett Moore, at home; one brother, William “Will” Martin Nose, of Barbour County; two step sisters Carla Christine Sigley, of Masontown, and Rhonda Kay Pahel, of Grafton; her maternal grandmother, Emily “Albertine” (Kunz) Withers, of Grafton; her father-in-law, Donald Ray Moore and wife Christine, of Simpson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by: her father, the late Larry Gene Nose; paternal grandmother, Lena Pearl Nose; her maternal grandfather, Dellett Martin Withers; her paternal step grandparents, Harold Morris Sigley and Edna Marie (Dixon) Sigley, and her mother in law, Amy Carol Moore.
