Shelby Jean Pendarvis, 79, widow of Melvin Pendarvis, of 156 Cherry Lane, St. George, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at her residence.
Shelby was born on April 19, 1937, in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Laurie W. and Eula Mae Strock Shuler. She was a supervisor with Carolina Girls Wear and a member of Indian Field United Methodist where she was a member of the Good Will Sunday School Class. She enjoyed many bus trips with special friends. She was predeceased by siblings, Marion Shuler, Leon Shuler and Allen Shuler.
Surviving is her son, Melvin Douglas Pendarvis, St. George; brothers, Frank (Sandra) Shuler, Camden, Bobby Ray (Judy) Shuler and Henry “Bubba” (Joan) Shuler; sisters, Georgia Mae Hill and Mamie Elizabeth “Sister” Shuler, all of Elloree.
