Sheila Schaltinat, 54, passed away the night of September 14th, 2011 at home with friends. She was born in San Jose, on May 26, 1957, to Corinne and Juan Rios. She was raised by her grandparents and lived most her life in Ventura County. She attended Adolfo Camarillo High School and Moorpark College. She had a twinkle in her beautiful dark brown eyes, incredible optimism, enchanting laugh, and her smile brightened her beautiful face. Her love for art, animals, creativity and her family was easily shared by those around her.
She followed her many interests by being an office manager, gemologist, jewelry designer and esthetician. She is survived by her daughter, Raquel Schaltinat; her mother, Corinne Rios; her brother, Henry Rios; J. M. Hobson, dear friend; family in San Jose, CA, and many devoted friends. She was a joy to be around and she will be missed by all who knew her.
