Cape Canaveral FL- Sheila Linn Morgan 55, passed away peacefully at her home on September 28th, 2020 after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was born May 20th,1965 in Mansfield, Ohio to Albert McCormick and Rosemary Fay. Sheila was employed as a caregiver until she married her husband, Stephen Morgan and moved from Orlando to Cape Canaveral.
Sheila deeply loved her family. Nothing would make her happier than family get-togethers and cooking big meals for the day’s festivities. She was such a loving soul. Sheila enjoyed home gardening and peaceful quiet times on her front porch garden oasis. She often took long bicycle rides on the bike paths with many favorite stops along the way. Sheila loved sunsets and would often look to the west to see if the night sky was beautiful and would take a photo of it to share with others.
Sheila loved Jesus! She was a bold witness for him and served him faithfully. She followed what God commands, to Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and to love her neighbor as herself.
Sheila is survived by her husband Stephen Morgan of Cape Canaveral, FL. She has three sons whom she loves dearly, Jason Carroll, Derek Carroll, and Hunter Carroll of Orlando, FL .Her mother Rosemary Carleton resides in Cape Canaveral. Her son Jason’s family includes his partner Audra Bradfield and Sheila’s three grandaughters Lauriana, Amalee and Taylor. Sheila’s father, Albert McCormick lives in Mountain Home, AR. Sheila has five stepchildren, Heather Morgan, Tyler Morgan, Justin Morgan, Dalton Morgan and Jenna Morgan all from Cape Canaveral,FL. Sheila is also survived by her brother Kevin McCormick and his wife, Jenna McCormick of Orlando. Sheila’s father-in-law and mother-in-law are Bobby Morgan and Karen Morgan of Guy, AR. and her sister-in-law Helen Cox and husband, Brian Cox of Mount Dora, FL.
