Sheila “Cookie” Savage Seese, 63, of Bruceton Mills, passed away Friday, January 20, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born February 5, 1948 in Uniontown, PA, daughter of the late Macie Savage. Sheila was a homemaker. She was a loving and caring person to many people. She loved quilting, canning, farming, and 4-wheeler riding. Surviving is her husband, Tom R Seese Sr.; one son, Jeff Seese; one daughter, Susie Spiker and husband Brian all of Bruceton Mills; Sheila came from a very large family with several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her mother, Sheila was preceded in death by two sons, Tommy and Brian Seese, and her mother and father-in-law, Charles and Ruth Seese. To honor her wishes the family with be holding an informal reception to celebrate her life at the Friendsville Elementary School, on January 28, 2012 from 1-5pm with the request for collective prayer at 2:04 pm. Inurnment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery at a later date.
