Mrs. Sheila “Gayle” Lail Thigpen, age 63, of Lanett, Al passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at her residence of natural causes.
Mrs. Thigpen is survived by her two sons, Robert Land and Rodney Thigpen; her mother, Eleanor Inez Thigpen Bryant; two grandchildren, Sidney Land and Seth Land; three siblings, Gary (Paula) Thigpen, Gordon (Rhonda) Thigpen, and Linda (John) Fletcher. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Renee Lail; father, Lee Vernon Thigpen.
Mrs. Thigpen was born on June 9, 1952 in Miami, FL. She was a very active member of the Shawmut Church of the Nazarene.
