Sheila Gartner Saxe, 70, of Magnolia, Delaware, wife of Philip D. Saxe for forty-eight years, passed away on September 10, 2017 at Milford Memorial Hospital in DE. Born on October 14, 1946 in Hartford, she was the daughter of late Paul and Ruth (Rosen) Gartner.
Along with Phil, Sheila is survived by her brother, William S. Gartner of Plainville, CT.
Sheila was a graduate of Connard High School in West Hartford and went on to earn a BA in English from Boston University and a Masters in Career Counseling from Saint Joseph’s in West Hartford. Sheila earned a CLU while selling life insurance for several years.
