Sheila Claire (Cosgrove) Tomminello, 70, of Peru, passed away March 5, 2016 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester, MN.
Mrs. Tomminello was born October 14, 1945 in Peru to Robert and Clara (Zimmerman) Cosgrove. She married Samuel Tomminello on May 25, 1968 at St. Marys Church in Peru. She was a graduate of the Catherine Shaw Bethea School of Nursing in Dixon and proudly worked as a registered nurse at Illinois Valley Community Hospital and in the office of Dr. Toraason. She enjoyed gardening, crafting and reading. Her family was her greatest joy.
Survivors include her husband, Sam of Peru; two sons, Steve (Ashley) Tomminello of Rochester, MN and Timothy (Ericka) Tomminello of Utica; four grandchildren, Ella, Owyn, Joseph and Mary Claire; one sister, Nancy (Dr. Michael) Stuart of Rochester, MN; one brother, Mark Skip (Patricia) Cosgrove of Carbondale and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
