Sheila Braddy, 68, of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was born October 7, 1951 in Centralia, the daughter of Stanley Braddy and Betty (Smith) Braddy.
Sheila is survived by her four siblings: Lisa Williams of Herrin, Deb Turner and husband Dave of Hannibal, Missouri, Bob Braddy and wife Deb of Centralia, and Dwaine Braddy and wife Wanda of Walnut Hill; five nieces and nephews: Neysa Dix of Herrin, Jenny Curtis and husband Tony of Hannibal, Missouri, Dustin Zima of Beardstown, Tracie Donnelly and husband Aaron of Centralia and D’Lynn Braddy of Wilmington, Delaware; several great nieces, nephews and special cousins: Sally Ray and husband Bob of Centralia and Andrea Ray of Centralia. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, several aunts and uncles.
Sheila was a graduate of the Centralia High School Class of 1969. Sheila worked at the Centralia BCMW for several years. She also worked at Wheaton Plastics for 34 years. She had a passion for going to Concerts, Bob Seger was her favorite Artist. She was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s Fan.
Sheila cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
