HAVERHILL – Sheila Anne Jameson, 55, of Bradford, MA, passed away peacefully at the High Pointe Hospice House on Sunday, February 6, 2022.

Sheila was born in Haverhill, MA on January 6, 1967. She attended Crowell and Nettle middle schools and was a 1985 graduate of Haverhill High School where she was awarded an Art Award.  Sheila received her B.A. in 1989 from Clark University where she majored in Studio Art. She knew she loved working with children and loved art. Sheila began giving afterschool art classes while also taking continuing education classes at the Franklin Pierce College. At one point she was teaching as many as 80 students per week. Upon graduating from Franklin Pierce College in 1994 from the Teacher Certificate Program she was hired by the Haverhill Public School Department as an Elementary Art Teacher where she happily worked for 25 years until illness caused her retirement in 2021.

In addition to teaching art in the Haverhill school system Sheila continued to teach art out of her home. Sheila also enjoyed taking art classes at the Kaleidoscope Camp at the Pike School in Andover.

Sheila is survived by her amazing, beautiful, energetic, kind and remarkable mother, Eileen B. Jameson of Haverhill. Sheila was also the daughter of later Louis Jameson who passed away in 1999. She is also survived by several cousins and aunts Madeline Kearney and Anne Heath. Sheila also wishes to thank her many friends for being on this journey of her life.
