Sheila A. Brolley, 58, of Peru, passed away December 26, 2014 at her home.
Ms. Brolley was born September 20, 1956 in Lawrence, MA to William and Dorothy (Niedbala) Brolley. She worked at Illinois Valley Community Hospital for 35 years and was a hospice volunteer. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Peru where she was a very active member, volunteering as an usher and a lector. She was a member of the Illinois Valley Women’s Runners Club. She loved to travel to Florida. She was a wonderful cook and an avid crafter.
Survivors include her life long partner of 36 years, Steve Caveglia; two sisters, Jean (Charles) Styvaert of Bettendorf, IA and Kathleen (Marty) Bertelli of Gulf Breeze, FL; one brother, Barry Brolley of Indianapolis, IN; nieces and nephews, Elliott (Tina) Mertes, Ian (Tracy) Mertes and Gina, Maria and Dominic Bertelli; one great-niece and one great-nephew and her devoted dachshund, Rocco Luigi. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Michael in infancy. Pallbearers will be Steve Caveglia, Barry Brolley, Elliott and Ian Mertes and Marty and Gina Bertelli.
