Shawn R. Moriarty, 48, of 2717 Lycoming Creek Road, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 28, 2009 at the Geisinger Medical Center.
Shawn was the maintenance supervisor at the David R. Webb Co. and a 1978 graduate of the Jersey Shore High School.
Shawn was a member of the Jersey Shore Moose, enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and was an avid New York Yankee’s Baseball and Penn State Football fan.
Shawn enjoyed spending time with his children, family activities and events, and will be very much missed.
Born September 20, 1960 in Jersey Shore, he was the son of George L. and Hannah J. Yeager
Moriarity.
Surviving are a son, Shane M. of Cogan Station; daughter, Shawna M. Moriarity of Williamsport; brothers, George M. (Angela) of Sierra Vista, AZ and Patrick C. (Pam) of Montoursville; sisters, Kathy M. (Ric) Cowher of Williamsport and Dr. Debra M. (Dan) Moriarity of Huntsville, AL; cousins, Walt Kaiser in Calif. and Layton Kaiser in CT and ten nieces and nephews.
Shawn was predeceased by a brother, Timothy J. Moriarity.
