Shawn Justin Phelps, 31 of Herrin, formerly of Centralia passed away September 21, 2014 in Williamson County, Illinois He was born March 3, 1983 in Salem, Illinois the son of Michael W Phelps and Deda (Finley) Phelps and they both survive in Centralia.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by two brothers: Brian Phelps and Eric Phelps both of Centralia; two nieces: Amia & Kylie; special friend Britnee Beers of Marion; several friends. Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents Gladys and Norman Phelps, Cecil and Mary Ruth Finley, and a special Aunt Dorothy Phelps. Shawn worked for Laborers Local 773. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and his two nieces, Amya and Kylie.
