He was born July 12, 1980 in Glendale, California the son of Michael Stephen Biss and Maureen Louise Shannon.
He married Crystal Lynn Jones on June 16, 2007 in Huntington Beach, California.
Shaun graduated from Marina High School in Huntington Beach, California class of 1998.
He was a Christian. Shaun loved snowboarding, surfing, skate boarding, BMX racing and playing his guitar. He was an avid Notre Dame fan. His kids and family were his life.
He is survived by his wife Crystal Lynn Biss, his son, Skyler Biss, daughter, Samantha Biss, step-daughter, Cassidie Jones, mother, Maureen (Joe) Footdale, father, Michael (Anna Johannsen) Biss, mother-in-law, Robin Jones, grandmothers, Janet Biss, Joan Shannon, sister, Casey (Kevin) Williams, niece, Paige Williams, sister-in-law, Kelli (Scott) Miles, nephew, Ryan Miles and niece, Ashlee Miles.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ron Jones and two grandfathers, Bill Biss and Dick Shannon.
