DURHAM Sharron Sue Shepherd, died Wednesday evening, January 14, 2015 after a brief illness at UNC Hospitals from complications associated with acute leukemia (AML). Until last summer, Sharron had lived and worked in Roanoke, VA for a number of years. She was a graduate of Skyline Community College with an associateâs degree in medical services. Prior to her brief illness, she was employed by Springview Assisted Living, of Burlington, NC.
