TORRINGTON –WELLMAN – Sharon Wellman, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. She was the loving wife of the late Clayton Wellman. Born April 19, 1951 in Winsted; the daughter of the late Edward and Lewella (Sullivan) Brochu. Sharon enjoyed music and art, loved early morning tag sales and her convertible Geo and her dog Bear Bear and cat, Hunter. She is survived by two daughters, Tracie Wellman of Harwinton and Terrie Wellman Clapps of Torrington; grandchildren, Kennith Jasmin and fiancé Dominique Owens, Jacob Wellman, Morgan Clapps and Madisen Clapps; two brothers and two sisters; close niece, Teri Craig; nephew, Dan Brochu; and extended family in Maine. She was predeceased by a sister.
